About Me

About Me
Me pretending to look cool or something

Well first of all my name is Jacob, obviously. I'm a 24-year-old writer, web developer, and Catholic convert from Northern Ireland trying to live a life of purposeful devotion.

On this blog, you'll find my general thoughts on learning to live the Catholic faith, on topics like prayer, liturgy, obscure theological texts, and other such related observations.

Sometimes I'll be wrong, as we all are, sometimes I might say something that makes you think a little more for a day or two.

In any case, I hope you enjoy what you read — and if not, sorry-not-sorry — and that we can all take what we learn and grow a little more devoted to God and His Church in our daily lives.

But, in fact, all true and living devotion presupposes the love of God...and when it attains its fullest perfection, in which it not only leads us to do well, but to act carefully, diligently, and promptly, then it is called Devotion.
